My name is Jason Becker. I was born in Chicago and moved to Winthrop Harbor when I was ten. At that time, Winthrop Harbor was rural and non-developed and I experienced the undisturbed outdoors. I lived one mile from Lake Michigan and had access to forest preserves in Wadsworth and Illinois State Beach park in Zion, IL.
